How to use

Suitable fabrics
Suitable for both coloured, darks and white textiles. Except wool & silk.

Why is the pH 10.5?

Clara + Sol has a pH of 10.5 because laundry cleaning works best in a mildly alkaline wash environment.

Everyday laundry contains body oils, sweat, food residue, pet smells, and general household dirt. A mildly alkaline formula helps loosen these soils from fabric fibres so they can be rinsed away during the wash.

This does not mean your clothes stay at pH 10.5 after washing. During the cycle, Clara + Sol is diluted in water, worked through the fabrics, and then rinsed out by the machine.

We designed the formula to clean effectively without relying on enzymes, optical brighteners, phosphates, preservatives, or fabric softener.

Why do my clothes need a few washes to feel naturally soft again?

If your clothes, towels, or bedding have been washed with fabric softener for a long time, some residue may still be sitting on the fibres.

For items with long-term softener buildup, it can take around 3–5 washes for old residue to gradually rinse out.

For best results, stop using softener, avoid scent beads or dryer sheets, and use the recommended Clara + Sol dose.
